JAMMU, Aug 1: Reiterating the imperative need to maintain peace and harmony, the vice president of PDP, S Rangil Singh has exclaimed that the loss of life and property in Kashmir valley was own loss of the people, which needed to be stopped at any cost.
Complimenting the civil societies and people of Jammu, Mr Singh said, “our people have always exhibited glorious examples of secular peaceful co-existence since centuries and never reacted on baseless rumours spread by the anti-social elements in Jammu which is a mini India. Unity in diversity is our real power,” he said.
Referring to the expectations of the people from State Government, the vice president said that inimical powers were always in search of a situation which could further be exploited on various pretexts least caring for the lethal effects on a common citizen. He said that people from all sections of society have been living in Jammu region peacefully since times immemorial. Mr Singh said that every dark cloud has a silver lining and it is not far off when peace would return to normalcy.
Reminding that youth of the State are full of patriotism, S Rangil Singh said that they have a better talent in every field of life. “These youth, especially from Kashmir valley, are now fully aware and awake about the mechanization of the harbinger of violence which has given nothing else than death and destruction. Efforts are afoot to channelize their energies for socio economic upliftment,” he added.
Affirming that J&K is the integral part and shinning crown of India, S Rangil said that Pak should desist from interfering in the internal affairs of the State through a proxy war. “Socio-economic development in J&K should be an eye opener for Pak and she should rather concentrate on her own welfare and betterment,” he said and added that peace and harmony can be assured in Asian Sub-continent if Pakistan stops sowing seeds of terrorism and hatred in her our soil.
