Violators fined for illegally dumping sand

JAMMU, July 30: Jhajjar Kotli Police fined three violators for illegally dumping sand near Khartui Nallah.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh along with the team of DMO Jammu conducted raid near Khartui Nallah area and found dumps of sand illegally mined out from the nallah.
Three persons, who were fined for illegally dumping sand, were identified as Irfan Parvez and Farooq Ahmed, both residents of Urlani Tehsil Dansal District Jammu and Shallu of Badsoo Tehsil Dansal District Jammu.
A total of 190 MT of illegally mined sand was seized on the spot.
