Violators booked, people asked to perform Friday prayers from homes

RAJOURI, Mar 26: The lockdown in the district amid COVID-19 spread continued today with all the areas of the district remained under curbs enforced by law enforcement agencies.
Police said that people from all walks of life are staying inside doors and are properly following health advisories and restrictions ordered by authorities.
Police informed that a few person found violating the orders were booked.
One Rajesh Kumar, son of Sat Pal resident of Bhawani Nowshera was found indulged in construction work by engaging eight laborers after which a case under relevant sections has been registered against the accused whereas a tractor driver Mohammad Zubair, son of Mohammad Chiriya, a resident of Dandesar Nowshera and a Tata Mobile driver Suresh Kumar, son of Jagdish Raj, a resident of Akhnoor have been booked after duo were found plying their vehicles in violation of Government orders.
Police have also appealed people to offer Friday prayers from their house and avoid going to religious places on tomorrow.
