JAMMU, Apr 11: JK Youth Sharnarthi Action (JKSA) strongly slammed the BJP and PDP for violating all the norms and rules while recommending the names for nominations of eight members for Upper House, which is sheer violation of State Constitutions and also questioned the credibility of State Governor, who minutely watched the violation.
In a press statement, president of JKYSAC, Pt R C Sharma said that these eight seats were reserved by the State constitutions to accommodate those people, who are useful and purposeful for the society and can contribute for State and society to mitigate the sufferings of the people, but in the present nomination case for Upper House both the parties are enough kind to royal family by nominating both brothers.
Questioning the credibility of the Governor, he said that PoK refugees have approached him through letters and newspaper to nominate one refugee out of eight reserved seats in Upper House but Governor turned deaf ear to the request of 15 lakhs refugees and nominated those people, who hardly suitable for the criteria laid in the State constitution. He said that PoK refugees were hoping justice from Governor but Governor not delivered justice to them, reason better known to him.
Launching a scathing attack on BJP, who sought vote from the PoK refugees in both the elections, he said that BJP strategically and ideologically betrayed the PoK refugees and left all other political parties in betrayal and cheating of PoK refugees.
