Vinod holds workers’ meet at Gujjar Nagar

JAMMU, Sept 2: A workers’ meeting was today organized by the senior leader of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Rafiq Malik at Gujjar Nagar in which Vinod Sharma, president, Jammu Urban, heard the problems being faced by the people of the area.
A large number of party workers attended the meeting and apprised Sharma about their plight and hardships which need to be addressed as soon as possible.
While appraising their hardships, workers appealed Sharma to streamline the power supply in the area and said that power department is overcharging from public which should be checked. They also appealed him to exempt the interest on the bills.
Workers further appealed him to improve the sanitation facilities in the area as the condition of lanes and drains is not good owing to which people become prey of many diseases.
After giving a patient hearing, Sharma made it clear that he is purely a public servant and mitigating the plights of public will always remain his priority.
