UDHAMPUR, Aug 25:  Thousands of inhabitants of village Ladana and adjoining hamlets continue to remain cut off from mainland for the last two month following blockage of Kulvanta to Ladana road due to landslide near Lwoi and worst condition of road.
About 10 thousand villagers of Foungari, Pangyal, Kakole and Kalhate and Ladana are suffering because of the landslide and worst condition consequent to blockage of the road, which is only surface link for them to Tehsil headquarters Ramnagar mainland.
Alleging no action by the administration PWD, PMGSY to clear the blockage and improve the road condition, locals of village Ladana and adjoining area also held a protest demonstration today and raised slogans against the locale MLA and district administration, PWD, PMGSY.
Thousands of inhabitants of village Konain and adjoining hamlets also remain cut off from mainland for the last eighteen days following blockage of Ramnagar to Dhanwalt road due to landslide near Konain and worst condition road.
About 20 thousand villagers of Konain, Bhiala, Dhanwalt, Samna Banj, Blota and Dhanwalt are suffering because of the prevailing situation.
