UDHAMPUR, June 2: Agitated over no supply of drinking water for the last 26 days, locals of village Koo Nallha today protested against PHE Department.
The protesting villagers claimed that there was there was no supply of drinking water for the last four weeks. “We are totally depending upon the natural source of water, which is mixed with grubby and mud with the result that kids and elderly people of the village are catching intestinal problems,” they lamented.
The villagers raised slogans against the PHE authorities and threaten to gherao the Department installation in water supply to the village is not restored immediately.
