KATHUA, Apr 2: The residents of Chhan Rorian, Killo Chack held a protest demonstration at DC office, here today.
About 50 villagers of Chhan Rorian, Killo Chack held protest alleging that they were facing severe water shortage in the area.
They said whenever they approach the PHE officials, they say that there is some snag in pumping motor or give reasons for delaying of water supply. They have failed to restore water supply, till date.
They accused the PHE authorities of negligence and carelessness. Later the protesters met the higher officials at DC office and apprised them of their problems.
The authorities assured them that the water supply will be restored soon. On this assurance they dispersed off peacefully.
