Villager’s foot blows up in mine blast

POONCH, May 6: The foot of a villager was blown up in a mine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sector today.
Officials  sources said that 30-year-old, Parvez Ahmed, son of Manzoor Hussain, resident of  Deri Dabsi village had gone in the forest area near the LoC to graze his cattle. Then suddenly, he over stepped a land mine which was exploded with big bang. His foot was blown up with the impact of explosion.  With serious injuries,  he was removed to nearby Army hospital and later referred to Rajouri Hospital.
