Villager injured in leopard attack

MENDHAR, Sept 4: A villager was seriously injured after he was attacked by leopard in Gohlad area near Mendhar town today.
Reports said that incident took place when one Daleep Singh, son of Harnam Singh, resident of Gohlad had gone to nearby fields to fetch green grass for the cattle. A full grown leopard suddenly attacked him. He grappled with the wild beast and sustained serious injuries. The locals rushed for his help and later, shifted him to Mendhar hospital.
The locals said that this leopard has created terror in this area which is closer to Mendhar town and the people requested the Wild Life Department staff to neutralize this animals or capture alive and send to Wild Life Park.
