Vikramaditya interacts with shelling affected families

JAMMU, Oct 27: Expressing concern over loss of lives and properties in firing from across the border, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and senior leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Vikramaditya Singh today assured the affected people that he would take up their cases with the concerned authorities.
Vikramaditya Singh conducted extensive tour of the border areas of Shame Chak, Kalyanpur, Kana Chak Camp and Lalyal which witnessed heavy shelling and firing from across the border.
Affected people while narrating their tales of woes, expressed concerns of increased intensity of the border shelling and requested the MLC to provide immediate relief to them. The residents demanded that they should be provided alternative shelter at the safer places. The affected families also demanded that Government should immediately conduct survey of the shelling affected areas and provide ex-gratia to the people.
Vikramaditya assured the public that he would work closely with the local administration to do the needful.
