Vikram kick starts development works in Ward 19

JAMMU, Mar 5: Congress leader and former general secretary, All India Youth Congress (AIYC),  Vikram Malhotra kick started work for laying of tiles, besides, construction of lanes and drains at Chand Nagar in Ward No. 19 here on Monday.
Funds to the tune of Rs 9 lakh have been provided for the purpose by Amrit Malhotra, Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Council from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra emphasized on the development of infrastructure in urban and semi-urban areas of Jammu. He also laid stress on the role of civil society in maintaining and upkeep of their respective localities.
He assured the locals that further financial support would be provided for other development related works of the Ward and other adjoining localities.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Rajinder Mehra, Rinku, Mulkh Raj, Farooq Ahmed Salaria, Chaman Lal, Surinder and others.
