JAMMU, Nov 18: Giving impetus to his election campaign, Congress candidate from Jammu East Assembly constituency, Vikram Malhotra today visited the areas of Jewel, Kaali Jaani, Kanji House and Malhotra Mohalla. He met a large number of people and made a fervour appeal among them to vote in his favour.
On the occasion, he addressed a number of corner meetings and listened grievances of the locals.
Vikram Malhotra said that some parties are trying to divide and polarize the people of the State only to stall the progress and development. He added, “But, I am very happy that people have understood their cheap game plan and are ready to vote with sagacity and wisdom to frustrate their nefarious agenda.”
Maintaining that there was need to further accelerate the process of progress and development in the Jammu East constituency, Malhotra said that no stone will be left unturned to convert Jammu East Assembly constituency into a ‘model constituency’ of the State. And, he further said, in order to achieve this, “I appeal you to vote in favour of a right candidate.
Vikram informed the people about developmental works undertaken by him in the past in the constituency.
On the occasion, the Congress candidate also opened election office at Malhotra Mohalla and pledged to work for the welfare of masses of Jammu East constituency.
