JAMMU, Oct 7: Viklang Chhatra Trust, Akhnoor is organizing a free Jaipur foot/limb camp at Jammu in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti Jaipur Kota,the world’s largest limb fitting society under the Statewide programme of the Trust.
The experts and technicians of the Samiti will fabricate and manufacture limbs/calipers individually for each beneficiary. Satya Pal Saraf ,the organizer of the Trust said that the Viklang Chhatr Trust has launched a State wide programme to provide limbs to the amputees, victims of border shelling, landmines blasts, militancy and accidents and calipers to polio affected people free of cost . Special provision will be made for the benefit of the people of border districts who have fallen victim to unprovoked shelling from across the border on civilian areas in various sectors of Jammu Division.
The specially abled persons are asked to register their names along with necessary information about their disability , age. limb involved, below or above knee, postal address ,contact number etc to Viklang Chhatra Trust 91/8 Manda, Akhnoor 181201 to enable us to have an idea of the requirement of material.
