JAMMU, Mar 21: In continuation to the ongoing drive against liquor and drugs, today at about 1600 hrs Vijaypur Police had laid joint naka near 17 Miles and during the naka 314 grams of charas was recovered from the possession one person.
According to Police Mahindra load carrier No JK 21B/3418 driven by one Bittu Bazigar S/o Bhagtu Ram R/o Swankha Morh was subjected to checking by the police party. During the checking 314 grams of charas was recovered from his possession. In this connection case FIR No 36/17 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act,119/177 MV Act stand registered against the accused and the vehicle was also seized.
