Vijay Raina elected president KSD

NEW DELHI, Apr 29: Vijay Raina was elected president Kashmir Samiti Delhi (KSD) in its general elections held here on Sunday for the term of 2014-2016.
The election results were declared by Satish Thusoo, who acted as Returning Officer.
Rakesh Razdhan and Ramesh Raina were elected as vice presidents of the Samiti while Sumeer Chrungoo was elected as general secretary.
Mr Raina succeeded Rakesh Kaul as Samiti president whose tenure completed on April 25.
Besides, 34 executive members were also elected to the Samiti during the elections. The election to new office bearers was followed by oath ceremony function in the KSD Bhawan in which a large number of KPs drawn from different parts of NCR participated.
Prominent among those presenton the occasion included the former KSD presidents, Sunil Shakdhar and Dr L N Dhar, Kundan Kashmiri, president, Kashmiri Pandit Conference and M L Raina its senior vice president.
The newly appointed office bearers took a solemn pledge to fight for the community cause.
