JAMMU, Jan 9: Shyama Bakaya mother of NC senior leader and MLC Vijay Bakaya breathed her last here this morning after cardiac arrest. She was 94. She is survived by two sons, Vijay Bakaya and senior Cardiologist Ashok Bakaya and three daughters. Her cremation took place at Jogi Gate Cremation Ground this afternoon. People from all walks of life including prominent citizens, leaders of various political parties, bureaucrats and police officers participated in her funeral procession. Meanwhile NC provincial Unit Jammu held a condolence meeting under the chairmanship of Party president Devender Singh Rana MLA to condole the demise of Shyama Bakaya. The meeting observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to departed soul and prayed for the peace of departed soul. NC Minority Cell also held a condolence meeting under the leadership of M K Yogi to mourn the demise of Shyama Bakaya.
