RAJOURI, Feb 8: A meeting of the Vigilance Monitoring Committee was held at Dak Bunglow Rajouri under the chairmanship of Member Parliament, Jammu-Poonch constituency Madan Lal Sharma, who is also the Chairman Vigilance Monitoring Committee.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Advisory Board for Development of OBC, Kuldeep Raj Verma, ADC Rajouri, all members of the committee and all district officers.
The chair was informed that about 3952 works were taken up under MGNREGA generating 15.59 lakh mandays at an expenditure of Rs. 2811.87 lakhs.
It was also informed that about 104 schemes were approved under PMGSY out of which 63 stands completed with Rs. 21692.67 lakhs expended till December 2012.
Threadbare review was also held on implementation of Indira Awas Yojana, NRHM, RGGVY, NRDWP, SGSY and IWDP (Haryali).
The Chairman stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure that the set targets are achieved and funds are utilized in judicious manner so that the benefits of these schemes reach the common masses and overall development of the district.
