TIRUPATI, Apr 28 : Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan offered prayers at the goddess Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor near here on Tuesday.
Upon his arrival at the temple, he was accorded a traditional Istikapal welcome by the temple priests.
Later, he offered prayers at the Dwajasthambam and had darshan of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru.
After darshan, TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra presented Srivari prasadam and honoured him with Sesha Vastram.
Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, TTD Board Member G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy, JEO V. Veerabrahmam, District Collector Venkateswarlu, District SP L. Subbarayudu, CVSO Muralikrishna, Tiruchanoor Temple Deputy EO Harindranath, and other officials were present.
