Vibodh inaugurates road at Keri Dungi

RAJOURI, Apr 11: Giving further boost to various developmental activities, senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today inaugurated a road here at Keri Dungi.
This road has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 5 Lakh and the funds for the road have been provided under MGNREGA.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that this is the first time during last one decade that the impact of the Centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA is visible on the ground.
He further added that the border areas remained the worst suffers during the past as previous Governments never heard their pleas and always cornered the hard working people of the border belt.
The MLC said that he along with the BJP ground workers are working in a missionary mode to ensure that the benefits of the various Government run schemes reach to the last poor of the border areas.
He further added that at present when whole world is moving at a fast pace, we also need to move on similar lines. On this occasion, he also spoke about various other schemes of the Government and said that transparency and honesty is must to reap maximum benefits from these schemes.
The MLC was accompanied by Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area and the officers of the Rural Development Department.
