Vibodh Gupta announces Rs 5 lakh for Rajouri PG College

RAJOURI, Oct 21: Government Postgraduate College Rajouri organized an Inaugural Function of Add-on courses in Journalism, Functional English and Tourism under the control of Prof. Javed Mughal, HoD English as the coordinator of the courses.
It was a mega event where more than 250 students got themselves enrolled in various professional courses. Advocate Vibodh Gupta, MLC Rajouri was the chief guest on the occasion. Gupta has been the alumni of the Post Graduate College Rajouri who visited college for the first time after being elected as MLC.  He was honored by the staff and students of the College.
While taking stock of the internal condition of the college campus he announced an amount of Rs 5 lakh and handed the authority letter thereof to the Principal of the College for the up-gradation of the internal roads which were pitiably in shabby conditions.
The proceedings of the function were presided over by Prof. S.H. Shaw, the Principal of the College. Mr Gupta, expressed his views on the need and importance of the newly launched professional courses in day day life. He impressed upon the students of the college to logically define the future course of action with regard to their respectful survival in the society. Gupta deploring the common psyche of the masses in the country in general and in J&K State particular said that “we should not get inclined towards the Government jobs all the times rather we should concentrate on the private sector as well”. Highlighting the day to day demand of Journalism, Functional English and Tourism, Gupta inspired the youth to go and experiment their luck and potential on these professional lines.
