Sanctions Rs 3 lakh for Cremation Ground at Chinor

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Nov 26: Accompanied by party leaders and workers, BJP senior leader and MLC, Vibodh Gupta today visited Chinor in Karaen Panchyat and held many interactive sessions with locals there. On this occasion locals raised the issue related to construction of a proper cremation ground at Chinor. The locals said that as a result of this they are facing a lot of problems.
Reacting to the demand, Vibodh sanctioned an amount of Rs. 3 Lakh out of his CDF for construction of a Cremation Ground at Chinor. Latter addressing a gathering at Chinor, Vibodh said that present Government under the able leadership of PM Narindera Modi stands for transparency and good governance. Through these means Government is trying to reach out to the poorest of the poor and is trying to solve their genuine problems.
While giving details about the recent decision of the State Government, wherein the Jammu & Kashmir Bank has been brought under the purview of Right to Information (RTI) Act, the Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) guidelines and State Legislature, Vibodh thanked Governor Satya Pal Malik for this decision. He hailed this historic decision and said that this is in line with ensuring maximum accountability and transparency in the functioning of such institutions.
While reacting sharply to the recent statements of some politicians wherein they criticised the State Government for recognising J&K Bank as a public sector undertaking, Vibodh said that this exposes these politicians and their evil designs. These people he said have always treated J&K Bank as their own property and have always given priority to their own interests over the interests of this prestigious institution. He further added that when Maharaja created J&K Bank in 1938, he never thought that these politicians will use the Bank for their own petty gains.
He asked the people of Jammu & Kashmir to stand united and become part of such reforms and massive development movement launched by Government.
