JAMMU, Nov 26: The screening of J&K Junior Chess team was held today at indoor complex MA, Stadium here.
Ravi Singh Divisional Sports Officer Jammu along with Satish Gupta Manager Indoor Complex MA Stadium screened the players. Atul Kumar Gupta, President All J&K Chess Association and other members of AJKCA were also present.
The event will be held at New Delhi from November 28 to December 6.
The selected boys include Majid Ahmad Bhat, Uzair Ahmed Wani and Sheikh Faisal Parvaiz, whereas selected girls are Arushi Kotwal, Ojaswani Mengi and Avantika Gupta.
Parvaiz Ahmed will accompany the team as Manager.
