VHP, BD start serving free food to needy

JAMMU, May 11: Like other parts of country Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) is organizing Langers for COVID patients and other needy people in Jammu and Kashmir also.
This was stated by VHP organizing secretary, Vivekanand at a press conference here today along with other office bearers of VHP and BD. He said the needy people can make call for both times of meals in the morning and evening and activists of two organizations drop the food packets in the houses of needy people.
VHP president Sureesh Gupta said to ensure that no needy goes to bed hungry in this Pandemic, the VHP supplies food packets at their residences. Besides, the VHO also makes arrangements for the fodder for stray animals. In addition to it VHP is also distributing masks and sanitizers among the needy people who can’t afford them to fight out the Pandemic.
Bajrang Dal co convener, Kartik said that his organisation is committed to service for humanity and providing the food and other items to needy at their residences is its duty. He said BD activists are providing their services at UT, district and tehsil level to the people.
