JAMMU, July 21: Veteran Trade Union leader, Suresh Sharma formally joined the Jammu Province Bachao Manch (JBM), a prominent socio-political platform known for its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the rights and aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
During a specially convened meeting of the Manch’s executive body, under the leadership of its Chairman, Ashok Sharma (Adv), chief spokesperson Dr Kuldeep Sharma, vice president Satish Poonchi, Ashwani Sharma and others, Suresh Sharma was given a grand welcome and profusely garlanded by the members.
Recognising his decades-long experience in public life and his relentless service to the working class, the executive committee unanimously appointed him as general secretary Incharge of Frontal organisations.
In his address, Sharma expressed deep appreciation for JBM’s people-first ideology and its resolute efforts to counter the political and economic marginalisation of Jammu. He pledged to work with full dedication for the upliftment of all sections of society and strengthen the organisation’s grassroots outreach.
The JBM leadership expressed great satisfaction over Sharma’s induction, stating that his arrival would provide a significant boost to the Manch’s ongoing initiatives. “His expertise in public mobilisation, especially among the labour and working-class segments, will immensely benefit our movement,” the members noted.
