Veteran RSS leader Bhagwat Swaroop passes away

JAMMU, Sept 30: The veteran RSS leader Bhagwat Swaroop breathed his last at New Delhi today. He was 95.
He has served as the Sangh Pracharak, founder member of the J&K Praja Parishad, Organizing Secretary of Pradesh Jana Sangh as well as Organisational general secretary of BJP in J&K for decades together. He was a great patriot and a selfless leader.
His mortal remains were consigned to flames at New Delhi today.
A large number of people including RSS,VHP, Bajrang Dal and BJP leaders attended his cremation and gave touching adieu to veteran leader who served Sangh as Pracharak for over seven decades.
The entire leadership of the party was pained and shocked to get news of his demise, who devoted his life for the service of the society and the nation with sole motive of uniting people to strengthen the nationalist forces in the State to defeat all such forces which posed threat to the unity and integrity of the country and were working to disturb the social fabric.
He also suffered jails in 1949 and 1952-53 agitations for working to get demolished the barriers between this State and rest of the country.
Jammu and Kashmir BJP has condoled the sad demise of Bhagwat Swaroop and recalled his services to the people of the State as well as country.
