JAMMU, Jan 6: Theatre group Vemedh Rangmanch ‘Repertory’ is going to stage the play ‘Lamhon Ki Mulaqat’ at Alwar Theatre Festival-2023 in Rajasthan on January 16, 2023, during 75 days long theatre festival, organised by Alwar Rangam from January 13 to March 28, 2023.
The play ‘Lamhon Ki Mulaqat’ is based on Krishan Chandra’s 2 stories—‘Poore Chand Ki Raat’ and ‘Shahzada’, dramatized by Uma Jhunjhunwala and designed and directed by Mushtaq Kak.
Play ‘Lamhon Ki Mulaqat’ revolves around the plot of ‘Love and Betrayal’ and mirrors a tragic tale of love and true devotion.
Mushtaq Kak is known for his plays Andha Yug, Malika and Pratibimb for which he was awarded the best director award while Maha Brahmin and Alladad were adjudged best plays.
Mushtaq Kak is also a renowned TV and Film artist having worked with top end TV, Film and OTT productions.
He has directed more than 100 plays all from different writers.
