UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: Police today seized one vehicle involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Station Basantgarh.
Police team of Police Station Basantgarh, led by SHO Abdul Satar, seized the vehicle from Ponara Zero Morh area when it was carrying sand and gravels illegally mined from river beds.
The vehicle bearing registration number JK14F-8607 was seized and its driver, namely Ravinder Kumar son of Hans Raj of Dudu was arrested on the spot. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at PS Basantgarh.
