JAMMU, Aug 7: Pouni Chak Police arrested a vehicle lifter, while Domana Police reunited two missing girls with their families.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Pouni Chak regarding theft of a motorcycle.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 189/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Pouni Chak led by SI Dilawar Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
The team after stern efforts and with the help of technical assistance arrested the vehicle lifter, who was identified as Murad Ali, son of Bashir Ahmed of Thub Sandwan. On his disclosure, the stolen bike bearing registration number JK02CP-6973 was recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Meanwhile, two different written complaints were lodged at Police Station Domana regarding missing of two girls.
Acting over the complaints, missing reports were entered into the daily dairy of Police Station Domana and hunt was launched to recover the girls.
A team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul connected various leads, did hectic efforts and with the support of technical assistance finally recovered both the missing girls.
Both the girls were handed over to their families after completing all the medico-legal formalities.
