SAMBA, Aug 1: A delegation of members of Village Defence Committee (VDC) of Sumb, Nud and Purmandal blocks of Samba district today met BJP leader and working committee member Arun Sharma and raised the issue of their monthly wages.
The delegation members demanded that their monthly wages be fixed and deposit directly into their bank accounts. The delegation also discussed several others issues with the BJP leader, who gave a patient hearing to the delegation members.
The BJP leader assured the delegation to highlight the demand of VDC members with the party high command as well as Government.
VDC members-Ashok Singh, Bodh Raj, Gopal Sharma, Kuljeet Singh, Mool Raj, Rampal, Sudagar Mall, Ram Murti, Sonu Narania, Rattan Lal, Ashok Dutta, Ganpal Singh, Ramraj, Tilak Singh and Mohan Lal were part of the delegation.
