JAMMU, Oct 31: The Vice Chancellor of Jammu University Professor Umesh Rai today released a book titled ‘Corporate Governance: Legal Framework and Policies’.
The book is based on extensive research on this topic and is edited by Ritika, Suparan and Sachin Sharma (Co-authors) who are currently the PHD Scholars of PG Department of Law, University of Jammu.
Foreward of the book is given by Former Chief Justice of J&K Justice Gita Mittal as she states that the book deals with many contemporary issues and topic hence it postulates good academic outcome. This would be a delightful read and useful in academic pursuits of students as well as practitioners in field.
Ritika in her address gave a brief of the book and its qualitative content and how they affect a common man. The book outlines and explores contemporary legal frameworks and policies related to Corporate Governance in India with special focus on J&K. The book is an excellent compilation of writings from the experts of the field dealing with practical issues and implications of various topics related to the corporate governance.
It is published by Satyam Law International Publishing House and is readily available on all the major online stores like Amazon and Flipkart and will gradually be available in all the libraries and major book stores.
