Various organisations protest against PAGD

JAMMU, Nov 7: Various organisations have expressed their anger against the leaders of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) who met here, today and said after their failure to set up the shop in Kashmir, the People’s Alliance is making a desperate attempt to hoodwink the people of Jammu now.

The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of its president, Ashok Gupta took out a massive protest rally against the Gupkar Declaration leaders meeting in Jammu.
The party workers torched the effigy of Mehbooba Mufti for her anti Tiranga statement.
Articles 370 and 35A will never be restored. It murdered the human rights of communities like Gujjar-Bakarwals, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Paharis, women, Valmikis and the West Pakistan refugees”, said Ashok Gupta president of the two parties.
People of J&K want peace, brotherhood and development. Whosoever tries to conspire and pursue Gupkar agenda will not be spared,” he said, adding that Articles 370 and 35-A meted out gross discrimination to West Pak refugees, Gujjars-Bakerwals, SCs/STs, Valmikis, women and nationalist people in J&K.
“Articles 370 and 35-A gave birth to separatism and terrorism. It will never come back. It is a history now. These conspirators are again trying to bleed Kashmir, but we won’t allow them to succeed in their sinister designs. We will not allow the Gupkar agenda and won’t let them vitiate the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir again. Gupta added.
Shiv Sena (SS) Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir held a protest demonstration against the meeting of Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) near the residence of former Chief Minister and NC president, Dr Farooq Abdullah at Bathindi. Police arrested woman leaders while leading staging protest.
Led by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena, J&K unit, dozens of Shiv Sainiks gathered near the residence of Dr Farooq Abdullah at Bathindi and raised slogans against the blatant Alliance for holding a meeting in Jammu with a view to befool people with its old tactics.
Jammu and Kashmir Police deployed outside the residence of Farooq Abdullah immediately swung into action and arrested the three Woman leaders including Meenakshi Chibber (president Mehila Wing).
Talking to reporters, Sahni termed this political amalgamation of PAGD as faction of Pakistani puppets which can go to any extent for ensuring petty political gain.
All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) president, Desh Rattan has also lambasted the leaders of Gupkar declaration saying that the parties who were not seeing eye to eye during last 70 years have become friends over night to befool people once again. He said the Kashmir crisis is the result of misleading role played by the leadership of Congress, NC , PDP and Peoples Conference (PC) over the decades which led to present turmoil in J&K. He cautioned the people against joining the alliance whose leaders have brought the J&K to the path of destruction.
