LEH, Jan 7: Several delegations today called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, at the LG’s Secretariat, raising key concerns related to livelihoods, infrastructure, administrative status and sports development.
A delegation from Ladakh Transport Cooperative Society met with the LG and submitted their demands.
Similarly, members from Shachukul village, Nimoo, Basgo, Ney villages also met with Kavinder Gupta and highlighted their issues.
Stanzin Sonam, president of Ladakh Flying School, also met with the LG.
While interacting with the delegations, the LG assured them of the UT Administration’s proactive intervention on all matters.
He emphasised safeguarding livelihoods of Ladakh’s people, enhancing network connectivity for better access and governance and extending full support to sports with high potential in the region.
