JAMMU, Mar 3: In order to carry out various works to be carried out by M/s IRCON International Ltd for undertaking R-APDRP works, power shut down is allowed from March 2 to 15 from 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm (4 hour shut down on alternate DTs).
The areas to be affected during the shut down period will be Green Belt Park, Rotary Park, Housing Board, AD Block, Gole Market, Apsara Road, Aquaf Market, General Hospital Road, Dilli house, Crazy Morh, Gandhi Nagar Last Morh, Shastri Nagar, Old Nanak Nagar, Water Tank, Saroo Niwas, Gurudwara Marg, ICICI Bank Shiv Mandir Sec-7 JDA Panchvati Complex, Sainik Public School, SBI Bank Sec-B, Sec-C, Chowadi, Sainik Colony, Near park No-2, Near CRPF Sainik Colony, Lower Chowadi area, Ritz Hotel, Channi Himmat, Wave Mall , Channi Rama, Malik Market, KC Hyundai, Opposite 169/2 Channi Himant, Gurudwara Sec-1, Opposite SDDM Hospital, Channi Himmat, Sec-3, Sec-1, Near Bagh-e- Bahu area, Trikuta Nagar Sect-4,5,7,8,9., Opp United Public School, Vidhata Colony, Sattelite Colony, opp. Wave Mall, Mir Medical Hall, Bhatindi out post 38 BN CRPF, Glaidni Forest Complex, Sabzi Mandi, Karanghar Back side, Lochan Nursing Home, opposite Marble city, Shaheed Parveen Colony, Shiv Mandir, Indian Oil Officers Colony, Ward No-53, South Ext. Whereas Bari Brahmana Industrial Area and Kartholi Industrial Area will remain under shutdown from March 2nd to 15th from 8 am to 5 pm only on Sundays.
Similarly in order to carry out various works to be carried out by M/s IRCON International Ltd for undertaking R-APDRP works for LT Networks and 33 KV line, power shut down is allowed from March 3rd to 15th (except March 7th) from 9 am to 5 pm (4 hour shut down on alternate DT).
The areas to be affected during the shut down period will be Krishana Nagar, Dogra Mohalla, Science College, Shiv Mandir, Near Commerce College, Canal Road, Science College, Fisheries Department, Pawan Ice Cream from AG Office to Best Price, Indra Threatre, New Krishna Nagar, Chand Nagar and Abhinav Threatre, Patel Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Lane No. 5,8,9,10,12 and Mohinder Nagar, Karan Nagar, Kali Mandir, near Amphalla Jail, Ustad Mohalla, Back side of Hari Singh Mahal, Peerkho Mandir, Prem Nagar, Tali Morh, Peer Baba, New Plot area, Sarwal, Asrarabad, Sidhra Main Chowk, Kabristan, Malik Manzil, New Rehari, Old Rehari, PWD Quarters, Meridian Palace, Dogra Hall, Prem Nagar, Christian Colony, JDA Park, Qasim Nagar, Bhagwati Nagar near Sawab Sukh, Govt. Meanwhile, for execution of works of 33 KV network lines for undertaking R-APDRP works, power shut down is allowed on March 6, 9 and 13 from 10 am to 5 pm. The areas affected will be Dogra Hall, Rehari, Ustad Mohalla, Resham Ghar Colony, Bus Stand, Jewel, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, Kaleeth Mohalla, Kaleeth Market, Part of Kanak Mandi and adjoining areas.
Similarly in order to carry out the realignment of 33 KV Nandpur Line due to widening of road near R/stn Nandpur, replacement of 11 KV bus bar, overhauling of 33 KV Breaker, Tightening of clamps and Jumpers at R/stn Nandpur, the shut down of 33 KV Nandpur Line emanating from 132/33 Grid staion Bishnah (Lalyana) is allowed on March 3rd and 4th from 10 am to 4 pm. Areas affected during the shutdown will be Nandpur, Abtal, BSF Chamlayal, Ramgarh Town and its adjoining areas.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the branch cutting and Tightening of loose conductor and jumpers, the shut down of 33 KV Old Kartholi Line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station BB-I is allowed on March 6 from 9 am to 3 pm and the areas affected will be Smailpur, Gurha, Raya, Mandal and its adjoining areas.
Similarly in order to carry out the development works by M/s IRCON under R-APDRP works, 11 KV Feeder TPN-4 emanating from 33/11 KVA R/stn Transport Nagar will remain under shut down on March 4, 7 and 9 from 10 am to 4 pm. Areas affected during the shut down will be Narwal Mandi and its adjoining areas.
To carry out branch cutting, Guard Netting and newly erected 33 KV BB-III line and preventive maintenance at R/Stn BB-II and New EPIP Kartholi, power supply to Bari Brahamana Industry fed from Grid Station Bari Brahamana-II, Ratnuchak, Ansal and Datta Da Tallab and its adjoining areas will remain affected on March 6 from 10 am to 4 pm.
The shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
