JAMMU, Sept 21: Dr Varinder Sharma, a well known ultrasonologist of this city added another feather to his cap of achievements as a singer with the release of his latest devotional Bhajan “Dar Lage Kuyun” here today in an event organized by Jambu Events.
The song along with video was released in the presence of Parvez Dewan, former IAS, author and librettist who was chief guest. Prof Shiv Dutt Nirmohi, historian, writer, educator was guest of honour while Ravi Puri, Secretary IRCS Jammu region and Pardeep Dutta from Times Now were special guests along with Naresh Sharma, Director The Strings and Jaswant Rai Gupta, president Rotary Club Jammu.
Video shooting of this song was done at Devi Pindi temple at Panthal near Katra. The video is heart rendering a devotee family who lost all hopes of recovery of their ailing son and looking for a miracle to save him. Their deep religiosity, devotion and faith in Mata Rani blesses them to the happiness and mental well-being back again with their son getting well.
Dr Varinder Sharma is known for his inclination towards singing and this time he has choosen to compose and sing a devotional song with the aim to attract the younger generation towards Bhajans. This is his third video song released in a short span. The first two released videos are “Azaadi- A pray for Peace in Kashmir and “Asha” The Hope for better India.
Parvez Dewan, while speaking on occasion, said that people all around the world have immense unflinching faith in Mata Vashino Devi and dedicating such a devotional music plays a vital role in the life of all human beings as prayers.
Shiv Dutt Nirmohi made aware about the history of the holy shrine, which offers peace, natural beauty and heavenly feelings. He hoped that sincere devotional effort by the singer will make people aware of this shrine which has equal importance as Mata Vaishno Devi.
The lyrics of the bhajan have been written by Owais Bhatt and music arranged by San j and Video by Aj Photography.
