Varinder appeals people to vote for BJP

JAMMU, Apr 7: Alleging that both Congress and National Conference are anti-Sikh parties, senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Varinder Jeet Singh, has appealed the people to vote for BJP.
Addressing a press conference here today, he held NC and Congress are responsible for anti-Sikh riots and Operation Blue Star, respectively.
The BJP leader also accused the coalition partners of not making Minority Commission and holding elections of Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee in the State.
He hailed BJP for taking many effective steps in favour of the Sikhs in the past including establishment of Sikh Heritage Centre “Viraste Khalsa” in Anandpur Sahib, declaration of holiday on the Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji in Delhi and granting status of second language to Punjabi in the State,
The BJP leader further said that to stop corruption and unemployment in the country, to stop discrimination with Jammu in the State and to make a prosperous country, people should vote for BJP.
