Jammu, Aug 25: Swarnkar Sangh, Jammu district, Chief Organizer, Naresh Abrol threw open Vaishnavi Refinery Centre at Chowk Chabutra, adjacent to Jain Bazaar.
On the occasion, the chief guests were President Kulbhushan Anand and National Executive Member, General Secretary Jammu district, Ajay Vaid who jointly inaugurated the centre.
Kulbhusan Anand, while speaking on the occasion said that from the time of Maharaja Hari Singh, this place is known for its traditional activities especially in goldsmith field. He remembered that earlier this area was known as Pawda Bazar, which is now-a-days known as Jain Bazaar and Chowk Chabutra. He said this place is famous for outstanding products of craftsman.
Member National Executive, Ajay Vaid while addressing on the occasion said that from this place Maharaja used to wear jewellery and especially ornaments of neck which were having worldwide fame.
In the end, Naresh Abrol presented vote of thanks.
