JAMMU, Nov 7: The 32nd Union Territory Level Security Committee (UTLSC) Meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar Goyal, (Additional Chief Secretary) Home Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was convened by Kamal P Patnaik, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, UT of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Senior officers of Reserve Bank, Police, Airport Authority, Air India, BSNL and local heads of commercial banks were also present in the meeting.
The meet discussed issues pertaining to security and guarding arrangements at Currency Chests, movement of treasure, safety /security of ATMs, detection of Fake Indian Currency Note (FICNs), thefts/ attacks/ pilferage / stealing in ATMs /Banks, opening / operationalization of new/ mega currency chests, market intelligence and latest developments in currency management.
