USTA alleges favouritism in adjustment of Masters, Lecturers

JAMMU, Aug 2: J&K United School Teachers Association has alleged favouritism, corruption and nepotism in recent adjustment order of newly promoted Masters and Lecturers.
A meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of Hari Singh who alleged that blue eyed persons of the administration and those who greased palms of the concerned authorities, were placed within five kilometers whereas others have been tossed in remote areas and 100-200 kilometers away from their residences. The Government has broken confidence and moral of hard working Masters, Lecturers and Principals who have not been transferred to suitable vacant posts despite completion of their tenure out of the district.
Asking the Government to modify  the hard hit cases suitably, repatriate and transfer all Lecturers, Masters and Principals who have completed their tenure, the USTA threatened to launch a struggle if the same is not done at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Rajiv Kumar, Banarsi Dass, Sewa Ram, Chamail Singh, Mohd Nisar Ahmed, Zulfkar Ali Malik, Pardeep Singh, Shahsi Paul Singh, Raj Kumar, Kishori Lal, Kewal Krishan, Ganesh Dutt, Rajinder Kumar, Noor Alam, H R Shastri and others.
