Upgrade Tatapani road, develop hot water spring: Ex-MLA

KALAKOTE, June 28: While expressing serious concern over the depleting condition of Tatapani link road and unattended hot water spring, former MLA Ashok Sharma and Coordinator, AICC, Vichar Vibhag, sought personal intervention of the State Governor  N N Vohra to improve the condition of the road to restore and increase  the tourists flow to Tatapani.
Addressing one day Congress convention at Tatapani  (Kalakote), the other day, former MLA pleaded for bringing Tatapani on National Tourism Map to exploit the tourism potential of the famous Sulfur spring which will improve the economy of the area and provide employment to the youth.
The Ex-MLA also pleaded for issuance of orders of upgradation of Tatapani High School to Higher Secondary School which was kept pending on political consideration  despite directions by the  then Chief Minister. He assured the participants of  convention that the matters of public importance raised including drinking water, electricity, supply of ration, BPL list review, improvement of health care and education delivery system with the Governor, his Advisors and the Chief Secretary  for their redressal.
The outgoing Government alliance partners failed themselves  to act upon the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) and some of its ministers have immense wealth worth crores coupled with land grabbing of lands owned by the Army, forests etc which should be got investigated into, seize and declare such ill-gotten properties, as public properties and be auctioned and put to use such money for providing necessities of life to the people including wages to the 30000 CP workers for their regularization and regularization of SPOs, Anganwadi workers and helpers, ReT teachers etc.
Prominent among those who addressed the convention included MY Mughal, Som Raj Khajuria,  Kashmir Singh, Rattan Lal Padha, Vivek Sharma, Ex- Sarpanches, Shabir Ahmed, Ram Lal, Nazam Din, Om Parkash and  Karamat Malik.
