SAMBA, Dec 8: Unprecedented development has taken place in Narendra Modi led Union Government said general VK Singh, Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, while addressing series of election rallies at Nud, Hiranagar, Ramgarh-C in Vijaypur constituency and other areas.
General VK Singh also met a group of Gujjar Bakkarwal community at Phambra near Nud.
J&K BJP vice-president and Prabhari district Samba, Assem Gupta, J&K BJP general secretary and former Minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga, Amar Singh and other senior leaders also accompanied the Minister in the election rallies.
General VK Singh, while addressing the rallies said that Article 370 was abrogated for the greater good as it was an obstacle in development. He said that now many new developments are witnessed in the region giving empowerment to Panchayat. He said that fast development is taking place in J&K. Now Samba road is being developed, Pathankot to Katra road will be world-class, Central University, AIIMS and this is the unprecedented development, he said.
Minister said that now the things are getting right in J&K and asked the masses, “You must vote for the development’’. More than 100 schemes are only made for farmers and for those communities who were only harassed earlier. Four percent reservation for border residents is given. Now the whole funds are only for development and not for corruption. Schemes like Ujjawala, Kisan Samman Nidhi (6000 annually), Jammu-Kashmir residents given the benefit of Ayushmaan Bharat is the only State in whole of the world, where such benefit is given to every citizen. Only BJP can do development.”
He said that the people of this region have given enough chance to corrupt parties like NC, PDP, Congress for 70 years, but the development is only seen in BJP.
