JAMMU, July 24: The dead body of an unknown female of age about 30 to 40 years was recovered today from a canal in Gadigarh area of city outskirts.
“The body was recovered from Wazir Canal near Gurudwara Dharap,” Police sources said, adding, it was found in semi-decomposed condition.
Sources said the deceased was wearing red colour shorts and had a tattoo on one of her arms. “The body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” they further said, adding, cognizance in this regard was taken by Police Post Gadigarh.
