JAMMU, June 30: An unknown man of age about 35 years was today found hanging with a tree in Gandhi Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to police spokesperson, some passersby this morning spotted the body of an unknown male of height about 5 feet 8 inches, hanging with a tree along a road near Fire Brigade office in Gandhi Nagar area and informed the police.
He said that on their information, a police team from police post Nehru Market reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for identification/post mortem.
The concerned police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case.
