JAMMU, July 20: An unidentified female body was recovered today from Ranbir Canal in Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an unidentified woman aged about 35 years floating in Ranbir Canal was spotted this evening by some locals in Muthi area.
On getting information from locals, a police team from police station Domana reached the spot, fished out the body from canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem
A case in this regard was registered at police station Domana and further investigations were on.
