JAMMU, June 18: The dead body of an identified man of age about 30-35 years was recovered today from a canal in Satwari area of city outskirts.
“The dead body was first spotted by some locals. On their information, a police team reached the spot, fished out the body from the canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” a police official said.
He said inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Satwari.
