JAMMU, Apr 9: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 35-40 years was recovered today from University Road near MAM College.
According to a police official, the dead body of a man, who appears to be a beggar, was spotted this morning by some passersby on footpath near MAM College. He said that the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the Government Medical College and Hospital for identification and post mortem.
“In this connection, inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC had been initiated at police station Gandhi Nagar”, he said, adding the deceased is 5 feet tall and weatish in complexion with round face, black eyes and white & black hair.
