SRINAGAR, June 19:
An unidentified body was recovered under mysterious circumstances on the bank of river Jehlum in Srinagar, official sources said here today.
Officials said that panic gripped in Aramwani area when a body was found at Jehlum View Park under police station Rajbagh. The body was taken away by police for identification, they said.
However, police officials are yet to as certain the cause of death. Police have registered a case and initiated proceeding, they said adding, that the body has been kept in mortuary at Soura for identification. Police has sought help to identify the deceased, they added. (UNI)
