UNHCHR comments

Sir,
This has reference to the news item ‘India reacts sharply to UNHCHR comments’ DE Sept 4.
The United  Nations High Commissioner seems to have issued the statement in a hurry without having analysed the ground situation properly.
There is no doubt that people are on the streets in the Valley to get their grievances  by the Central Government. In this unrest both  the parties- security personnel and stone pelters have suffered injuries, and even some of them have lost their lives as well. Many agencies have voiced their concern over human rights violations of  people, but no one talks about human rights violations of security personnel. They too have received serious injuries, and it would have been prudent for the agency raised their issue as well.
Besides, it is Pakistan who is behind present unrest in Kashmir. The statements issued by Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief, Pak Army Chief Rahil Sharief and Pak Diplomat in India in favour of militants and uprising in Kashmir substantiate what India has been repeatingly stating from time to time.
The UNHCHR should also find the involvement of Pakistan in this dirty game.
Yours etc…
