JAMMU, July 6 : Udhyog Bhawan Employees Association Jammu has decided to support four day strike call given by JCC leadership from July 9.
In a meeting of the Association held here today, its senior members including Ravi Singh and Surjit Singh condemned the anti-employee attitude of the Government and delay being caused in fulfillment of the commitment made with the JCC leaders, regarding just and genuine demands of the employees and workers.
They projected the major demands of the employees which included removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, implementation of 6th Pay Commission in favour of PSU workers, regularization of ad hoc, contractual, daily rated workers and enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years. The meeting unanimously resolved to support four day strike call announced by employees JCC from July 9 to 12. They appealed the employees from various PSUs to participate in the strike programme and make it a grand success.
Meanwhile, All Departments Clerical Staff Association in a meeting held here today also decided to endorse the strike call given by JCC leadership from July 9 in the State.
The members during meeting exhorted the employees to participate in the strike.
