JAMMU, Oct 14: Union Bank of India today inaugurated its new branch at Bantalab today. The new branch was inaugurated by the V Santosh Kumar, Principal K V Bantalab who was the chief guest on the occasion in presence of Dr Ajeet Marathe, Deputy General Manager UBI.
On the occasion chief guest expressed the hope that the banking services of whole Jammu will be enhanced and common man will get better customer services by medium of UBI.
Dr Ajeet Marathe, DGM of the Bank in his address said that the Union Bank has made an identity of a bank that is working for the welfare of the public. He also appealed the people present on the occasion to connect with Union Bank and enjoy the services extended by the Bank.
He said the UBI with its network of over 4000 branches and 6675 ATMs spread across the country with crores of customers availing its services has made a distinct identity and it is about to complete the 100 years of its existence and is prospering successfully.
He said with the opening of Bantalab Branch, UBI Jammu now has five branches with 16 ATMs rendering their services to customers. Jammu has contributed greatly towards the growth of UBI, he added.
Others who were present on the occasion included Susheel Kumar, Branch head of the Bank, Nishant Mahajan, Marketing Officer and V K Koul Head Cashier.
